The Blowing of the Trumpets

 Happy New Season Autumn 

and The 7th month the Holy month 

1st day (Sunday)Blowing of Trumpet a double Sabbath to remember and prepare for holy high Sabbath (Day of Atonement)) and also prepare for celebration The Feast of f Tabernacles 


 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.Ye do no servile work therein: but ye offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord. Leviticus 23:23-25

Restate

And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye have an holy convocation; ye do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.Numbers 29 :1


Day of Atonement 9th day (monday)at evening to 10th day (tuesday)at evening is the Day of Atonement in remembrance of  Christ our High Priest who covers us for our sins a day of supplication day for repentance a day to examine ourselves and deny ourselves through fasting it is a day of fasting a High Holy Sabbath no work is  done.

 


Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there  be a day of atonement: it be an holy convocation unto you; and ye afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.And ye do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.For whatsoever soul it be that not be afflicted in that same day, he be cut off from among his people.And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Ye do no manner of work: it be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

It be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, ye celebrate your sabbath.

On the 15th day of this 7th month is the start of the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles all Israel born should dwell in booths for 7 days. 

It is also the time of  ingathering of the fruit of the land.

You will keep a feast

On the 14th day at evening is the start of the celebration it begins on the 15th day. It is a double Sabbath a Holy convocation. The 1st day(Sunday) of the celebration will be treated as a Sabbath it is a holy convocation and the 8th day(Sunday) will be treated as a Sabbath it is a Solemn  Assembly no work is done.


 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto The Lord seven days: on the first day be a sabbath, and on the eighth day be a sabbath.And ye  take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.And ye keep it a feast unto The Lord seven days in the year. It be a statute for ever in your generations: ye  celebrate it in the seventh month. Ye  dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born dwell in booths: That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the Lord.   Leviticus 23:39-44

And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days. Numbers 29:12

On the eighth day ye have a solemn assembly: ye do no servile work therein: Numbers 29:35
